United Utilities is seeking a contractor for a £150m sewage works upgrade in Lancashire.
The project is to be procured as a single contract comprising the design, construction, commissioning and operation of new and refurbished wastewater treatment facilities at Blackburn and Darwen wastewater treatment works, together with a new transfer pipeline.
The published contract notice puts the contract value in the range of £145m to £165m.
Contractors interested in bidding have until 14th July 2015 to submit their requests to participate.
United Utilities is holding a presentation on the project on the morning of 16th June in Warrington.
