Eric Wright Group is inviting expressions of interest from specialist subcontractors for its £25m Blackburn Cathedral Quarter scheme.
Eric Wright subsidiary Maple Grove Developments is working as the preferred developer of the regeneration scheme on behalf of Blackburn Cathedral and Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council.
The scheme comprises of a six-story office building, a 60-bed hotel for Premier Inn, a range of shops and restaurants as well as car parking. The buildings are arranged to create a new 'Cathedral Close' within which a new public square will be formed.
Up for grabs are a £200,000 CFA piling contract, a £1.5m groundworks contract and a £1.05m contract for structural steelwork, metal decking and pre-cast concrete stairs.
