Amey renews Northern Ireland roads deal

Amey has secured a third consecutive term as Roads Service Northern Ireland’s (RSNI) transport and highways engineering consultancy partner.

The contract, worth up to £10m, starts on 26th April 2014 and runs for three years with the option of extensions.

Amey has worked with RSNI since 2005 providing highways design and consultancy support.  Services include asset management, design, investigation, transportation planning, environmental management and construction management.

Amey chief executive Mel Ewell said: “We are delighted to continue our very successful relationship with Roads Service Northern Ireland.  Our engineering expertise has supported our client in achieving a number of award winning and best practice transport and highways solutions for Northern Ireland and we look forward to working together to build on this success.”

Amey’s offices in Belfast have a team of close to 100 engineers servicing the contract. This team also provides support across Amey projects in the UK, Middle East and Australia.
