Property developer Regal Homes has acquired a series of historic canal-side warehouse buildings in London’s Limehouse district.
Royal Quay is a 0.35 hectare site on the Limehouse Cut canal, at 3-11 Dod Street, London, E14 . It was purchased from Lenta Business Centres for £14.9m.
Bought with an existing planning consent for residential conversion, Regal Homes has gained approval for an amended scheme and plans 90 units comprising studio, one and two-bedroom apartments arranged over four floors.
Construction work will start in February 2015, with the first completions scheduled for spring 2016.
