Laing O’Rourke has reportedly won the £100m contract to convert the London Olympics Press & Broadcast Centre into a new campus for creative and digital businesses.
The project is being developed by real estate specialist Delancey and data centre operator Infinity SDC. Together they are operating as iCITY. They plan to call the development Here East.
Plans include a 300,000 sq ft innovation centre; a 1,045 seat auditorium; and a 850,000 sq ft building housing educational space, broadcast studios and office space, as well as data centre.
