FM Conway lands £21m Lewisham highways deal

FM Conway has won a £21m road maintenance contract with the London Borough of Lewisham.

The deal is worth around £3m a year and will run for five years with an option for a two-year extension.

The contract, which begins on 1 April 2014, will see FM Conway deliver highway maintenance and planned road works throughout the borough including emergency works, gully cleansing, winter services and footway works.

Chief executive Michael Conway said: “This is a major win, and we’re delighted to continue our working relationship with the London Borough of Lewisham.  It demonstrates the strength of our term maintenance offer in London which is underpinned by our unique approach to self-delivery of all services which allows us to give best value to our clients.”
