Carillion has started work on a £7m contract to provide facilities management services to three public sector organisations in Scotland, including Historic Scotland.
FM services for National Museums of Scotland, the Scottish Children’s Reporter Administration and Historic Scotland have been bundled together into a single contract that runs for five years with the opportunity to extend for a further two.
Carillion will be providing a range of engineering and soft services to more than 180 sites throughout the country.
Carillion has been providing FM services to the Scottish Children's Reporter Administration for 10 years and to National Museums of Scotland for seven. Historic Scotland is a new account, however, and includes such landmarks as Stirling Castle and Edinburgh Castle.
Carillion’s Scottish portfolio also includes a total facilities management contract with the Registers of Scotland, servicing its headquarter offices in both Edinburgh and Glasgow.
