The University of Cambridge has called for expressions of interest for a £48m project to build a new Department of Chemical Engineering & Biotechnology.
The new building will be on the university’s West Cambridge Campus on Madingley Road, next to junction 13 of the M11.
The initial award will be for just the design phase, with a second stage, develop and construct, following on subject to tender price and/or market conditions.
Works are expected to start on site in March 2013 with completion in June 2015.
